After Scarcity is a sci-fi video-essay that tracks Soviet cyberneticians (1950s – 1980s) in their attempt to build a fully-automated planned economy. If history at its best is a blueprint for science-fiction, revisiting contingent histories of economic technology might enable an access to the future. Vindicating this other internet, the work presents the economic application of socialist cybernetic experiments as extra-ordinary to financial arrangements and imaginations of our time.

An indeterminate location, summer. The inhabitants of a shared apartment ask themselves where they might live. They imagine countries, communities, and places. Time passes and nothing can change that — neither human action nor objects and their states. At some point, they all drift into a deep sleep.

«No es»/«It isn't» is a cumulative poem by Mariano Blatt, which is constantly written over the course of a lifetime. The text of the poem, a list of «what seems to be but isn't», to which verses are added over days, months, and years, can cover anything: images, people, memories, landscapes, phrases, ideas. With this list ringing in its head, Eduardo Williams's film Parsi finds itself in a perpetual movement through spaces and around people. We are taken on a breathless ride through bustling neighborhoods, from person to person, thrown, dipped under water, rushed from image to image, creating in the process yet another poem which is caressed by, crashes into, and spins next to «No es».

«Blue» was filmed during 12 nights in the heart of the Thai forest. A woman lies awake at night. Nearby, a set of theatre backdrops unspools itself, unveiling two alternate landscapes. Upon the woman's blue sheet, a flicker of light reflects and illuminates her realm of insomnia.
