«Cocote»
Alberto returns to his native village in the Dominican Republic to investigate his father's murder, but his quest is impeded by the local community and their beliefs. This anthropological thriller which taps into a different reality, received the main prize in the Signs of Life section at Locarno Film Festival.

In the year of the 10th anniversary celebration, Garage visitors are invited to see the best of the classics, festival discoveries, and the boldest experimental films at Garage Screen Summer Cinema.
